2026 Festival: Our Young Musician of the Year is singer, Chloe Marler

Our Young Musician of the Year competition was held on Saturday 21 February 2026 at Redbridge Music Service in Hainault.

And what a fantastic competition we had this year - there was so much young talent.

Many congratulations to our winner, Chloe Marler, for such magnificent entertainment.

Singer, Chloe, won the Young Musician shield and £250.

Well done to all our nine finalists. To be in the competition meant you were the best of the best!

Congratulations to Lok Him (Duncan) Tsang for winning both the Felix Marr prize (£500) and also the EPTA Cup for the best under 18 pianist. Quite a feat!

We also awarded George Buggle the Forest School Trophy for Best Overall Drama Performance with a £100 prize, and Gamalini Kantharupan the Dacia Stevens Cup for most promising actor.

And many thanks to James Kirby for adjudicating. It was a tough job!
