Millennium Classes

Competitors present a programme consisting of three solos, each chosen from a different discipline.

Confinemento Classes

Competitors present a programme consisting of two solos, each chosen from a different discipline.

The Confinemento classes (named after the confinement suffered during the countrywide lockdown due to the pandemic) was introduced for the 2021 online festival. The classes were very popular and we have decided to retain them.

This category acts as a reminder to how COVID-19 changed the world, and this festival, and challenged us to work and think differently.

PLEASE NOTE: You may enter both the Millennium and Confinemento classes but no pieces may be repeated between the two classes.

The disciplines for both the Millennium and Confinemento classes are:

3. Strings

4. Guitar

5. Harp

6. Woodwind

7. Brass

8. Percussion

9. Recorder

10. Speech & Drama

Online entry is now open for our 2023 fesival, which takes place in February. The deadline for entries is 30 December 2022.
