Composition: Spotlight on Janet Baldacci - Dance Suite for recorder ensemble

Janet Baldacci entered her composition into Class 703, which was for instrumental ensembles or solo instruments, aimed at entrants aged 16 years and over.
Her piece, entitled 'Dance Suite', was written for a recorder ensemble.
Janet was awarded 86 marks and received an 'Honours' adjudication from Adrian Goss.
Adrian congratulated Janet on her assuredness in handling the instruments with good stylistic insight. He said the piece is characterised by an excellent understanding of phrasing and textural variety and an innate understanding of the various dance styles.
Janet has kindly agreed to let us share a pdf and two sound files of her composition, one digitally created and the other played by her recorder group.
