We're delighted to hear that a composition by Alex Weidmann will be played by Alvaro Ibarra, a virtuoso soloist, during the Bloomsbury Festival.
As part of a project for the London Composers Forum, Alex - along with 8 other contemporary composers - worked with Ibarra over the last year to produce some beautiful new sounds and melodies for the classical guitar and baroque theorbo - to be experienced in Holy Cross Church, Cromer Street, WC1 on Saturday 17 October.
Alex submitted a piece into our Composition class last year, and we are so excited that he's going from strength to strength with his compositions...
